Schwarzenbach International Rowing Gallery

Historic racing boats, including the first ever 'Boat Race' winner from 1829, suspended from the ceiling of the Schwarzenbach International Rowing Gallery

The Schwarzenbach International Rowing Gallery has recently reopened after a major redisplay. The new-look gallery tells the story of international rowing in a truly dynamic way, allowing people to experience the sport and understand what it's like to compete on the water.

In the Cox’s Seat

One of the highlights of the new gallery is 'In the Cox's Seat' an interactive exhibit giving visitors a unique 360 degree panoramic experience of what it is like to take part in a race at Henley Royal Regatta.

Film Footage, Unique objects and Interactive Exhibits

Rowing is one of the world's oldest sports and the gallery tells its fascinating story in great detail. On display are hundreds of objects never before shown to the public, lots of thrilling footage showing great races and a wonderful range of interactive exhibits providing something for all the family.
