Reflections on a Bridge Nick Schlee
16 January - 28 February 2010
Nick Schlee's powerful and dynamic paintings and drawings of the red pillars of Blackfriars railway bridge, provide a bold and majestic backdrop to the ever changing movement of the River Thames. His colourful, large scale works are full of light and movement that reflects the changing nature of the river from its green upper reaches in Henley to its working tidal stretches in the City of London. Nick Schlee will be giving a lecture on Painting Big on Saturday 6 February. Please see adult events for more details.
