Rowing down to Rio: Olympic Regatta goes to South America
From June 2010
The Olympic Games are going to Brazil in 2016, and the rowing regatta will be held a few blocks from Copacabana beach. This will be the first time in their history that the Games will have gone to South America. Rowing in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay dates back to the 19th century and this exhibition will explore this rich history.
