Birds of Prey Day
13 May 2008 20:26
Falcons and owls wowed visitors to the Museum this week. Over 300 people got up close and personal with the birds of prey on Thursday (17 April).
Visitors got the chance to see the birds inside the Museum, before heading out onto Marsh Meadows to watch a flying display.
Despite strong winds, rogue dogs and a flock of crows, they were expertly controlled by Chiltern Hills Falconry. Youngsters got the chance to draw pictures of the birds they'd seen as well as make masks and hand-puppets. For more events like this, check out our What's On guide.
