No Parking at the Museum

As an independent charity, the River & Rowing Museum holds many fundraising events to ensure the future of the Museum. Our biggest - The Splash Ball - takes place on Saturday 17 May.

It means our car park is unavailable from 6 May until the 24 May while the marquee is being put up and taken down.

There is parking nearby in the council's car parks and the station car park is free at weekends. The Museum will close at 2pm on Saturday 17 May.

We apologise for any hassle this may cause, but hope you understand that fundraising activities are a vital part of our work and should help to secure our sustainable future.

As a thank-you for your patience during this time, we are holding a FREE sport event for youngsters on Sunday 18 May. There'll be the chance to try all kinds of sports including a climbing wall and circus skills workshop. The event runs from 11am-4pm.
