The Museum is a wonderful location for a Wedding party
There are a variety of options available for weddings, large or small, all in the unique Museum environment alongside the river with beautiful views and stunning architecture.
Rowing Gallery - makes an unusual setting for a drinks reception or sit down dinner amongst historic artifacts in a stunning room.
Thames Room - with space for 100 guests and views to river and meadows, this room is a beautiful setting. The Thames Room also has it's own private terrace.
In addition to these two spaces you can use a combination of rooms and galleries to create a truly special party.
Our experienced events team are dedicated in ensuring your special day exceeds expectations, we can assist in the arrangement of flowers, cakes, entertainment, accomodation and transport.
Wedding Catering
Digby Trout Restaurants operate the catering facilities at the Museum and their aim is to provide you with innovative and stylish food, using the highest quality ingredients served with an exceptional attention to detail. Digby Trout are happy to create a bespoke menu to suit your requirements and taste.

Canapes
- Lamb brochette with mint & rosemary chutney

Starters
- Courgette, aubergine, goat's cheese & tomato millefeuille (v)
- Seared scallops with cauliflower puree & cepes
Main Course
- Pan fried sea bream with artichoke & wild mushroom
- Slow cooked rib eye beef, shallot fondue & gratin dauphinoise
Dessert
- Mascarpone & almond pannacotta with strawberries & basil
- Warm chocolate fondant with espresso ice cream
Late Licences
The Museum is licensed until 11pm from Monday to Thursday, until 1.00am on Friday to Saturday and until 10.30pm on Sunday. For special occasions we can apply to extend this licence, for this we need 10 days advance notice.
