Weddings
The Museum is a wonderful location for a Wedding party
There are a variety of options available for weddings, large or small, all in the unique Museum environment alongside the river with beautiful views and stunning architecture.
Rowing Gallery - makes an unusual setting for a drinks reception or sit down dinner amongst historic artifacts in a stunning room.
Thames Room - with space for 100 guests and views to river and meadows this room is a beautiful setting.
In addition to these two spaces you can use a combination of rooms and galleries to create a truly special party.
Every wedding is individual so please discuss your needs with the Museum's Events Team so they can help fulfill your own requirements.
Wedding Catering
We understand that you want everything to be perfect on your special day therefore with our partners Elegant Cuisine we have created a variety of special wedding menus. These are available in 3 different packages Gold, Silver & Bronze. If none of these suit your needs we will be happy to discuss your requirements to create a menu especially for you.

Trio of Smoked Fish: Smoked Salmon, Home Cured Gravadlax and Smoked Halibut with a curly endive salad and a dill mustard dressing

Breast of Chicken filled with a Basil Mousseline with a crushed new potato cake and a white wine, cream and spinach sauce
Double Gloucester and Leek Filo Parcels with a crushed new potato cake and a creamy tomato sauce
Selection of Vegetables finished with virgin olive oil
Duet of Desserts
A double shot chocolate pot with a crème fraiche topping & Miniature Lemon Muffin on a pool of Lemon Curd

Late Licences
The Museum is licensed until 11pm. For special occasions we can apply to extend this until midnight. This must be done at least 10 days in advance.
River & Rowing Museum (Trading) Ltd
Profits from venue hire are remitted to the River & Rowing Museum Foundation, a registered charity.
