(coffee from 11am)

Simon Townley is Editor of the Victoria County History of Oxfordshire, which recently published a volume on Henley, Bix, Harpsden and the Rotherfields.

Fresh from completing its recent book on Henley, the Victoria County History is turning its attention to the rural parishes which made up the area known as Ewelme Hundred.  Stretching across the Chilterns from Benson to Nettlebed, this is an area of contrasting landscapes.  The lecture will summarise discoveries so far, and outline some fo the new approaches being adopted.

Tickets are £6
