Soloing the Indian Ocean

Soloing the Indian Ocean

Event Image

Saturday 16 October, 11.30am (coffee from 11am)

The story of one woman in a very small boat, rowing across an ocean. Sarah brings the 124 day voyage to life, sharing the highs and lows, the failures and success of life at sea.  It will make you laugh, cry and who knows, maybe afterwards you'll want to take on your own ocean? Sarah is currently planning her next expedition 'London to London: via the world' - a human powered circumnavigation of the planet.

Sarah Outen became the first woman and youngest person, at 24, to row solo across the Indian Ocean in 2009.

Tickets are £6.  To book, please call 01491 415600 or email edbookings@rrm.co.uk
