Saturday 22 November
Sean Henry
£5 (£3 members)
11.30 (coffee served from 11am)

Sean Henry’s single and multiple-figure sculptures occupy private and public locations in many parts of the world. In England, his outdoor works have been seen at The River & Rowing Museum, Canary Wharf, Berkeley Square, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Regent’s Park, and Goodwood  in Sussex. ‘Couple’, Britain’s first offshore artwork in Northumberland, was launched to great media acclaim in June 2007.  At this lecture Sean will discuss the dramatic effect of placing artworks in the public realm and will talk about his interest in the theatrical potential of sculpture.
