The Story of W.H. Brakspear

The Story of W.H. Brakspear

Brewery

Saturday 25 October
Michael Parsons
£5 (£3 members)
11.30 (coffee served from 11am)

For over two hundred years the brewery was a major industry in Henley on Thames -  the smell of the copper boiling was part of the town.  All that has gone, as has another essential industry - malting.  This is the story of the business founded by Robert Brakspear, and the people who worked at The Brewery, New Street.
