Thomas Keller Library and River & Rowing Museum archive
The River & Rowing Museum has large collections of stored archive and reference material relating to our main collection.
We ask that you give at least one weeks notice before visiting the Library and archive as we often need to remove material from storage and will search the database for material relating to your research.

Archive collections the Museum holds include:
The Thames Conservancy Collection - minute books from 1907 - 1974.
The John Piper Collection - Books, catalogues, journal articles, images and documents relating to the work of the artist John Piper (1903 - 1992).
The George Bushell Collection - A large collection of photographs taken by George Bushell, a local Henley on Thames photographer, during the early 20th century.
The Henry Taunt Collection - A collection of photographs taken by Henry Taunt, a local photographer of Henley and the River Thames, during the late 19th and early 20th century.
Rowing Almanacks - An almost complete collection of the British Rowing Almanack dating from 1861 to the present day. This publication is useful for those researching rowing crews, clubs and races.
Henley Royal Regatta Records - Almost complete collection of bound results from the Henley Royal Regatta dating from 1839.
Rowing programmes - We hold an extensive collection of rowing programmes, from the Olympic Games to local skiff races.
Early books, guides and folios of prints relating to the Thames.
Extensive collection of Rowing and Thames Journals.
