Chairman for online talk Life Lessons from Women in Rowing

Your Chairman for the evening: Annamarie Phelps, CBE

Annamarie Phelps is the ideal chairman for the evening’s discussion –  Chairman of British Rowing, Vice Chairman of the British Olympic Association and a Trustee of the British Paralympic Association. Annamarie enjoyed a successful international rowing career representing Great Britain at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta (women’s eight). Leader at the Rio Olympics and
Paralympics, she says: “To be in Rio as Chairman of British Rowing and to have every single oneof our athletes come back with a medal and to be able to have played a small part in trying to persuade Channel 4 to broadcast that live was very, very special”.
